ANGI Homeservices: A Home Service Platform To Watch (NASDAQ:ANGI)

Thesis

ANGI Homeservices (ANGI) is the largest digital marketplace for home services. Although its performance has lagged expectations in recent years, we believe the recent initiatives taken in combination with ongoing catalysts could provide ANGI with a significant opportunity to capture the home services market.

Background

ANGI began as Angie’s List in 1997 as a website to review services providers. In late 2017, it was acquired by IAC (NASDAQ:IAC) (media holding company) and merged with Home Advisor to create ANGI Home Services. It also includes several smaller companies including Handy which it acquired in late 2018. ANGI enables homeowners to connect with contractors/handymen to perform the jobs needed. ANGI currently has about 200,000 service providers (SPs) and 15mm households on its platform.

To put this in perspective, there are about 120 mm households and about two million SPs in the United States. The TAM of the household services is half

How To Watch NYCC Panels At Home From Thursday To Sunday

New York Comic Con and London’s MCM Comic Con are not being held in person this year, but they’re still keeping nerds entertained by going digital. Fans can watch from home this year.

NYCC and MCM have come together to present the Metaverse. The digital pop culture convention has all the staples usually present at New York’s Javitz Center, including exclusive merch, artist alley, and of course, the panels. The one perk of 2020 is not having to wait in line for those panels featuring fan-favorite actors, writers and more.

Luckily, all fans have to do is go to the NYCC YouTube page. Panels are releasing from Thursday through Sunday.

While shows like BBC America’s longrunning hit “Doctor Who” and Hulu’s new Marvel adaptation “Helstrom” will do traditional panels, sessions like Friday’s “Batman Beyond” paid experience gives fans a 1-on-1 chat with their favorite stars. See the full schedule of

My streaming gem: why you should watch I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore | Film

2020 has been a long nightmare of a year, one that has constantly defied the rules of time and space in terms of how much bad stuff can happen in such a short amount of time. The cascade of awfulness never seems to end. Amid all this chaos, the responsibilities of adulthood – work, chores, bills – feel insurmountable, and the world around us feels unrecognizable. One of the only things getting me through it is cinema, and the movie I keep returning to for its insightful portrait of this pervasive malaise and our simmering resentment in response to it is Macon Blair’s directorial debut, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore.

Blair has long been known for his collaborations with childhood friend-turned-creative partner Jeremy Saulnier. He played a supporting role in Saulnier’s directorial debut, the horror comedy Murder Party. Blair then starred in (and produced) Saulnier’s Blue

Watch Dogs Legion’s Director Takes Us Through Some of Its Final Improvements Before Launch

What a difference eight months can make in game development. Back in October of last year, Ubisoft announced that it was delaying Watch Dogs: Legion to an undisclosed date in 2020. The original release date had Legion releasing in March, right at the beginning of our current endless void where time has no meaning. Now, the next Watch Dogs is coming on Oct. 29 for a dizzying array of platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia.

I previewed Watch Dogs: Legion three months ago, during what would normally have been E3. So returning to the game now, I didn’t expect to see much in the way of change. Surprisingly, Ubisoft has tweaked and improved Legion ahead of launch. It’s not a new game entirely, but even from the beginning of my demo I noticed changes.

Apple Watch Series 6 review: minute improvements

Weirdly, the fact that the Apple Watch Series 6 is the very best smartwatch by a huge margin feels anticlimactic. That’s probably because the same was true of the Series 5, the Series 4, and even the Series 3. At this point, the company would have to massively screw something up with the Apple Watch for it to be knocked out of the lead spot.

Apple didn’t screw anything up. But that’s not the same thing as significantly moving forward, either. The Series 6’s updates comprise a bunch of very minor updates that will be unnecessary to the vast majority of people who will buy it. The headline feature, blood oxygen monitoring, also fits in that category.

Starting at $399, it’s not the best deal you can find for your wrist, but it justifies its cost by offering a ton of value — just not enough value compared to previous

Here’s how to watch Google’s big virtual event from home

It’s been a busy month, and next on the agenda for virtual phone announcement events is Google with its Sept. 30 “Launch Night In.” Google previously unveiled the Pixel 4A budget phone in August, confirming on the same day the existence of its next flagship, the Pixel 5, and the upcoming Pixel 4A 5G, both of which will have support for 5G. The invitation for Google’s September event confirmed that “new Pixel phones” would be among the products unveiled, along with a new Chromecast and a new Nest-branded smart speaker.

Game time at new-look Hackley Stadium: Watch time-lapse video of $1 million renovation

MUSKEGON – Shane Fairfield was 9 years old when he played his first football game at Hackley Stadium.

Several years later, the memory is still vivid for Muskegon High School’s 11th-year head coach. The stadium, however, looks a bit different.

“That was exciting because I felt like I was in the Big House (at University of Michigan). I mean, being a 9-year-old kid going through that tunnel and seeing the field and there’s no track around it and that kind of stuff, I was blown away then,” Fairfield recalled earlier this week, as he prepared his Big Reds (1-0, 1-0 OK Green Conference) for their big crosstown matchup against Mona Shores (1-0, 1-0).

At 7 tonight, the Big Reds will finally get the opportunity to play in their upgraded, century-old stadium. As fate would have it, the rival Sailors will be on the opposing sideline.

Top Home Improvement Retail Stocks To Watch Before October 2020

The MarketWatch News Department was not involved in the creation of this content.

Sep 23, 2020 (StockMarket.com via COMTEX) —
Are These The Best Home Improvement Retail Stocks To Buy Right Now?

Retail stocks were harshly affected by the pandemic when it arrived. Some retail companies were able to perform well like Target Corporation (TGT Stock Report) and Walmart Inc. (WMT Stock Report). This was due to them staying open despite the worldwide closures of retail stores. It seems like home improvement companies were able to see the same benefits as the companies mentioned above.

This is due to the large increase in home improvement during the quarantine. Since people are or were stuck at home, home improvement has been the main focus for plenty with nothing else to do. So the top home improvement retail stocks being open for the majority of 2020 has caused them to perform well.
