HomePod mini and HomePod Can’t Be Stereo Paired, But HomePod Home Theater Support Coming Soon for Apple TV 4K

Following the HomePod mini announcement at Tuesday’s Apple event, The Loop‘s Jim Dalrymple has answered a key question many people have been asking: Can you pair a ‌HomePod mini‌ with an original HomePod to make a stereo pair?

“The short answer is no,” explains Dalrymple. “You can’t make a stereo pair of a ‌HomePod‌ and a ‌HomePod mini‌. You can make a stereo pair of two HomePods or two ‌HomePod‌ minis, but you can’t mix and match the two products.”

That’s not to say the two devices can’t be used together at all, however. Dalrymple goes on to explain that if you have a ‌HomePod‌ and ‌HomePod mini‌ in the home, they can be used to play your music in different rooms. Apple’s new Intercom feature will also work on both devices.

Dalrymple says an update is on the way for the original ‌HomePod‌ that will add many features

Australia should brace for a wave of business failures and growing mortgage stress, the RBA warns, as support measures fall away

Australia’s central bank expects the number of small business failures will “rise substantially” as income and loan pressure builds.

With income support measures and more than $200 billion in loan deferrals set to expire, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) says between 10% and 15% of businesses in hard-hit sectors won’t make it as they run out of cash.

“These businesses are in a tenuous position and are particularly vulnerable to a further deterioration in trading conditions or the removal of support measures,” the RBA wrote in its Financial Stability Review published on Friday.

“Survey evidence indicates that about one-quarter of small businesses currently receiving income support would close if the support measures were removed now, before an improvement in trading conditions.”

While the RBA acknowledged there was “a high degree of uncertainty about the magnitude and timing” of those failures, the prognosis doesn’t look good.

For one, the number

Staycation trend funds improvements in Moray village but campaigners warn government support is still needed

Campaigners are calling for more government support to upgrade rural tourism facilities as a result of the post-lockdown staycation boom.

The Findhorn Village Conservation Company has been collecting voluntary fees from the beach car park for more than two years.

The daily charges, which are £1 for cars and £10 for motorhomes, were introduced to generate income to maintain the site for visitors as well as make improvements for residents.

The model has been hailed as an example to follow by other communities by members of Moray Council.

Yesterday the Scottish Government stressed it was “very aware” of the concerns and stressed it had increasing funding pots to cope with demand.

Green Kid Crafts launches Kitchen Table STEAM to Support Families This Fall – Press Release

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Sep 08, 2020 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — As families transition from summer activities to virtual, in-person, or hybrid schooling this fall, many caregivers are concerned about providing their children with activities that are fun and educational. Green Kid Crafts, a subscription box service centered on STEAM and nature-based activities, launched their Kitchen Table STEAM program on September 2 to give families extra support this fall.

The campaign color, pink, was chosen for its reference to the fireweed plant. Fireweed is often the first plant to regrow after a forest fire or volcanic eruption, making it a symbol of hope for families during this trying time.

“Coming up with fun, STEAM-based activities can be challenging even in normal times,” said Founder and CEO Penny Bauder. “Caregivers don’t have time to scroll through search results or go shopping for supplies. We want to alleviate the investment it takes to get
