If you’ve ever tried to pick a paint color for your home, you know that it can be a maddeningly difficult task, even for the most decisive among us. Whether you’re looking for the perfect shade of white (warm or cool? Matte or eggshell?) or the right inky blue (green or purple undertones? Too dark or not dark enough?), there are—quite literally—infinite options to choose from.     We often hear about how transformative paint can be to a house, but this kitchen makeover takes the cake. The room only has one window – which doesn’t provide much natural light – and the dark cupboards sucked any brightness out of the room. The owners had just a small budget to bring the heart of their home back to life, so using paint to overhaul the dark 1980s timber cabinetry was a clever and economical approach. Luckily, they didn’t need new appliances, fixtures or flooring, so instead read every article they could about painting kitchen cupboards and boldly decided to go for it.     Horse barns at Montana ExpoPark getting fresh coat of paint as fairgrounds improvements continue

    Cascade County has hired two contractors for $68,281 to paint eight barns and put a new roof on another barn at Montana ExpoPark as part of ongoing improvements during a slowdown in events due to COVID-19.

    Commissioners approved a $36,945 contract Tuesday for C’s Painting Plus of Great Falls to complete the painting work, which is now underway.
