Sam Pittman will lead a major renovation at Arkansas – Subscriber – Athens Banner-Herald

The fans who gathered at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville gave a warm, socially distanced ovation and a masked Hog Call at the first “Sam Pittman Live” weekly radio show a couple of weeks ago.

The new Arkansas football coach and Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, did the hour with a Plexiglass divider on the stage.

“You know this right here, I used to see that like if it’s a bad band playing or something,” Pittman said. “And it shields you from all the stuff being thrown at you. I thought that’s what this is for. It’s for COVID?”

Pittman didn’t need to worry about any such reaction at Georgia where he assembled a talented cast of offensive linemen during his four seasons on Kirby Smart’s staff and was beloved by fans and players.

“He was a relationship-driven coach,” Smart said Monday. “His players just love him and

Under the plan, which is scheduled to come before the Worthington Planning Commission Thursday, the north and west sides of the mall will eventually be torn down – about 120,000 square feet of the 138,000-square-foot building.

The mall’s owner, the Dallas firm Direct Retail Partners, plans to initially demolish the north end of the mall, about 85,000 square feet, and replace it with a 125,000-square-foot office building, up to 10 stories high, including a parking garage.

In a second phase, the west side of the mall would be removed and replaced with another office building of similar size to the first, a 120-room hotel or a 100-unit residential building, a 30,000-square-foot office or retail building, and an outdoor plaza.

Insta360 One R gains webcam mode and major image improvements

It’s only been over a week since the Insta360 One R gained compatibility with Matterport for generating 3D spaces, but the camera maker is already back with another announcement: a third major update for its modular action cam. This release claims to offer significant improvements in terms of image quality, with a new “PureShot” AI shooting mode achieving wide dynamic range faster than conventional multi-shot auto exposure bracketing. In general, shots should now be more detailed and vivid as well thanks to the higher bitrate and new color profile, respectively. Audio quality should also see a boost thanks to a new wind reduction technique plus general noise reduction improvement.

Users who go diving with their One R — which is waterproof up to a depth of 5 meters or 16.4 feet under water — will also be pleased to hear that this update comes with “AquaVision” support. This uses AI
